Company Establishment
MONTI Werkzeuge GmbH was founded in Bonn, Germany. Within 12 months, the first 43mm brush belt was launched.
U92 and Decapower Series
The first patented 23 mm abrasive belts (U92 and Decapower) were launched as accessories for drills and angle grinders, primarily targeting the automotive and DIY application fields.
First pneumatic drive unit
The first air-powered unit formed the technical basis of the MBX® series and quickly made a name for itself in the automotive industry.
MONTI Color-Coding System
Differentiated abrasive belts were developed for various applications, introducing a color-coding system (black, ochre, green, blue) that is still in use today.
Vinyl Zapper®
