Step 1: Cleanliness Standards
Select the standard you are following—ISO 8501-1 (Sa/St) or SSPC/AMPP. Both map to the same abrasive blast media selection.
Step 2 · Substrate Material
Carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminum - use steel abrasive belts for carbon steel, and stainless steel abrasive belts for other materials. Never mix them.
Step 3 · Outline Level
Select the required anchor profile grade for your coating system, and the selection tool will instantly return the tool and abrasive belt product numbers.
